Clay, O’Connor Recognized by SKLS as Key Members of Team of the Quarter

AGS employees Benjamin O’Connor and James Clay were recently recognized by Prime contractor S&K Logistics Services (SKLS) as key members of the Republic of South Korea Air Force (ROKAF) Technical Order (TO) Team of the Quarter for the 4^th Quarter of 2021. As Technical Writers, O’Connor and Clay are responsible for creating, editing, formatting, assembling, reviewing, and correcting technical manuals.  Recently, ROKAF implemented a special project converting TOs to a Country Standard Technical Order (CSTO) format prior to editing from the ROKAF source data. The Team worked diligently and converted two TOs without FrameMaker files, utilizing printed PDF procedures.  For the quarter, the Team produced 26 TOs consisting of over 5,400 pages, and their combined effort provided critical procedures used by the ROKAF to support their mission.  Additional assistance provided to co-workers significantly increased TO page production for everyone through streamlining data importing and editing processes.  The improved front-end editing procedures significantly reduced back-end corrections and re-formatting across the program. O’Connor and James were recognized as true Team Players by Director John McEntee, “well-respected by both peers and management for their unselfish characters….truly a great asset to the ROKAF Team and a stellar example of the smart, motivated employees” supporting SKLS.
