The Dow Family Gives Back

In 2019, AGS initiated Give Back Day, providing each employee with one paid day off per calendar year to support a charitable organization of their choice. AGS co-founders, Susan Thibodeau and Bert Rogers, believe that building connections is an integral part of maintaining a strong business, and that it is equally important for employees to build and maintain connections within their communities. As a result, they wanted to give their employees the time to support a cause they believe in, backed by AGS. The Give Back Day program was developed to support this goal.

This month, AGS employees Chris and Allison Dow utilized their Give Back Day hours to support the Anchor of Hope Foundation. As members of BYKR BROZ of Middle Georgia, LLC Motorcycle Club, Chris and Allison assisted with planning and implementing a fundraiser in the form of a motorcycle benefit ride. Their efforts raised nearly $8,000, assisting Anchor of Hope in sending approximately 30 local youth with developmental disabilities to camp. AGS was grateful to have the opportunity to sponsor a child and support Chris and Allison in giving back to their community.

At AGS, we are proud of all our employees, and enjoy learning more about them through this initiative. Chris and Allison Dow are not only outstanding employees, but also upstanding members of their community. Thank you, Dow family, for allowing AGS to help you give back!
