New Hires Bring Diverse Skills and Innovation to Team AGS

Last month, AGS welcomed several new hires in Warner Robins, GA and Colorado Springs, CO.

 

John Cummings joined the Warner Robins Team as a Technical Data Engineer supporting the verification/validation of the conversion of C-5 legacy technical orders to S1000D IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual).  John is a 28-year USAF veteran and aircraft Subject Matter Expert, former F-16, C-141, C-5 and C-17 Crew Chief/FCC (Flying Crew Chief) along with control lead for ISO (Isochronal)/HSC (Home Station Check) inspection docks. In John’s last USAF position, he was responsible for 40 maintainers and nine C-17 aircraft and served as TODA (Technical Order Distribution Assistant) and FCC program manager.

 

Kenneth Ray will join John in supporting the C-5 S1000D conversion effort. Ken has a diverse professional background, including serving as a Golf Course Superintendent, Production Supervisor within the poultry industry, and as an Independent Contractor in the Telecommunication field. Ken’s experience with process improvement and team management will be invaluable as he assists the AGS team with the implementation of the C-5 S1000D database and trains Government Equipment Specialists and C-5 Field Maintainers on the use and functionality of the IETM.

 

Jeffery Woodard joins the Peterson AFB team in Colorado Spring as a Senior Logistician orchestrating logistics functions for the Space Surveillance Telescope. In this role, Jeff will focus on Acquisition Life Cycle Sustainment. This includes providing logistics expertise to Government Product Support Managers at various forums to include Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Design Reviews, Provisioning Conferences, Technical Order In-process Reviews (IPR), and Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings. Jeff will ensure the planning and execution of all product support elements in the development, modification, upgrade, and sustainment of new and existing programs within the SPG portfolio. Jeff has over 18 years of logistics experience in Material Control, Transportation, Supply, and Documentation.
